ROUTE 1

THE GENOVESE CAVE

The route starts from Cala Dogana, crossing a valley with dry stone walls and offering views of Case Florio, Torre Saracena, Rocca di Erice and Monte Cofano. We arrive at the Grotta del Genovese, which can be visited with prehistoric graffiti. Best in spring or early summer, it offers a variety of island vegetation.

Route 2

Faraglione

The route arrives at Priete Varate on panoramic views of Favignana and the greenhouses with rich vegetation. After a quarter of an hour you reach the beautiful Faraglione beach, excellent for a refreshing swim. Through rocky landscapes, we finally arrive at a picturesque pine forest, ending the route above the houses of Pietre Varate and admiring a spectacular sunset over Marettimo and Favignana.
